Analyst sees little impact from home tax credit (AP)

AP – Pulte Homes Inc. is not seeing many sales as result of a federal tax credit designed to spur home purchases, an analyst wrote Friday, so its sales are therefore unlikely to fall after the incentive expires.

Judge orders renegotiation of 9/11 settlement (AP)

AP – A federal judge on Friday rejected a legal settlement of more than a half-billion dollars for people sickened by ash and dust from the World Trade Center, saying the deal to compensate 10,000 police officers, firefighters and other laborers didn’t contain enough money for the workers.
