McClatchy Newspapers – WASHINGTON — Iran told the United Nations’ nuclear watchdog Monday that it will begin producing purer uranium, a step that experts said could bring Tehran significantly closer to having the fuel for a nuclear weapon.

Ex-Boeing engineer gets 15 years in spy case (Reuters)

Reuters – An ex-Boeing Co engineer, found guilty last year of passing space shuttle secrets to China in America’s first conviction under a 1996 espionage law, was sentenced on Monday to 15 years in prison.

Nuance Communications narrows 1Q loss (AP)

AP – Speech-recognition software maker Nuance Communications Inc. said Monday it narrowed its loss in the fiscal first quarter as revenue in the company’s two largest divisions, health care and dictation, and mobile and enterprise, increased.
